Flight Instructing

Ted Lester is a FAA Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) in Airplane Single Engine Land aircraft. He mostly flies out of Hanscom Field (KBED) in Bedford, Massachusetts. With over 1200 hours, Ted primarily instructs in Cessna 182s and Cessna 206s as part of Associated Pilots Inc., where he is the chief instructor and former President for ten years. Ted also has experience in Cirrus SR22, Piper Arrow, Piper Warrior/Cherokee, Cessna 172, and Cessna 152 aircraft.

When time permits, Ted enjoys helping pilots with aircraft transition training and instrument training. Given his work in the avionics industry, Ted excels at teaching advanced instrument procedures to get the most out of modern, digital flight displays and controls as well as iPad electronic flight bags.

Price: $60/hour
